When you don’t wanna do anything…

The long suffering zombie, at times, has deigned to invite other people to her house (it’s a trap) on a holiday. Holidays range from Thanksgiving to July 4th, to birthdays, to Game Days.

And so, one may ask…how does a zombie girl, who sticks to her couch, get ready for an event of that magnitude? I used to employ zombie labor, of course. When my children were younger, I could always rely on them to help sweep up the dog-fur tumbleweeds from under my dining room table and chase them to the trash.

I had become quite the zombie leader in my house, sending rampaging corpses to and fro to complete the many quests before the holidays happened. I’d like to think that when the zombie apocalypse comes that I’ll be one of the leader zombies who completely destroys civilization through a few barked grunts.

Unfortunately, now, both the Architect and Chemist are quite grown up and neither really is home much any more to be available as the “cleaners” of the crime scene before these big days. Calling my houseful of dirt a “crime scene” may be exaggerating a little, but I am totally serious about the dog tumbleweeds under my table.
