The idea of homeless shack may have been applicable to tiny houses of the past, but more and more "tiny homes" are basically model homes with every amenity you can conceive, built to standard and modern code, and costing 100k or more. In short, for every tiny house available, you have as much disparity as homes built today--with just as much variation.

With the current affordable housing shortages we face, coupled with higher and higher eviction rates--there needs to be a bridge. Housing is not a "want" but a necessity for every human on the planet. The US currently is behind in innovating--and the only way to catch up is to ensure that all homes are built safely, to code, and that appropriate taxation is written into the current codes. That is literally all it takes to turn a "shack" into a livable home.
