I was going to be the first of my family to go through menopause without losing a uterus, or so I thought. Turns out I was both unlucky in getting endometriosis, but damned lucky in getting rid of that tiresome organ. I feel better emotionally and physically than I have since my teens. I’m looking forward to aging if it means feeling this good.
