I’m not sure that sexual orientation will make a friend silent. It’s usually the close-mindedness. But I’m hoping your friend is a friend and is a mature adult. Mistakes happen. Life happens. It’s possible your friend got swamped by life. I’m hoping that it goes a positive direction for you both. ☺
