I remember my lack of sex ed, and the older I get, I’ve come to realize that education isn’t the same as “permission” when it comes to teenagers. Education means teaching respect for the pleasure and sharing of our bodies and the consequences (good and bad) so there aren’t any other unexpected surprises. Often times, the better educated a person is, the better choices they can make when it comes to sex. Better choices mean better outcomes for health and wellness when it comes to both young men and women.
