I accidentally read an article that described me as a kid. Then another. Then another...And I hadn't realized how neuro-atypically autistic all of the things that I'd struggled with were. Truthfully, I'd given up trying to be "normal" a long time ago. And I don't expect anything to change. I don't care about the diagnosis. It was the freeing feeling, knowing that things suddenly made sense.
